In this article today I will solve the Equation No 1 that how to find the Centriod of any object.

**Example no 1**: determine the centriod of the given figure with reference to the given reference axis.

**Solution:-**

Given figure is symmetrical about y axis passing through the center of bout rectangular figure (1) and (2) so required centriod will at the distance of 70/2 = 35cm from the y-axis along the x-axis I-e x = 35cm

**Now y will be determine by moment of area method for which :**

Area of figure 1) = a_{1}d =1030 = 300cm^{2}

Area of figure (2) = a_{2}d = 7010 = 700cm^{2}

Distance of G_{1} along y-axis = y_{1 }= 30/2 = 15cm

Distance of G_{2 }along x-axis = y_{2 }= 30+10/2 = 35cm

**Distance of centriod =y =? **

We know that

y=300 15+700

29000/1000 = 29 cm
